Crowdfunding Campaign for Mrs. Robinson’s Tea Cakes
Tea cakes have been a part of Black history for generations, passed down through the hands of our ancestors as a symbol of resilience, love, and celebration. I’m Mrs. Etha Robinson, the Juneteenth Commissioner of the Tea Cake, and I’m on a mission to make tea cakes a staple in Black museums, churches, HBCUs, and family reunions across the country.
With your support, I will launch Mrs. Robinson’s Tea Cakes, a Black-owned bakery dedicated to reviving this Southern tradition. Our goal is to raise $25,000 to help fund a commercial kitchen, ingredients, packaging, and marketing in time for Juneteenth 2025—so that more people can experience the sweet taste of our history.
